A New Kind of Community Space for Frederick

A cricket park designed for gathering, playing, celebrating–and building something meaningful together.

More than a Cricket Park

Washington Freedom is striving to bring world-class cricket to Frederick, and not with a massive stadium complex, but with a thoughtfully designed, park-centered destination along the scenic Monocacy River.

This is about more than professional cricket matches. It’s about youth sports. Community celebrations. Outdoor recreation. Natural preservation. Local pride.

And yes–it’s about a sport loved by more than 2.5 billion people worldwide finding its home here in Maryland.

Actively Committed to Frederick

Washington Freedom is not waiting for a groundbreaking to show up for the community. We are already  engaging with local cricket leagues, supporting nonprofit efforts, connecting with youth programs, meeting with residents, and participating in public dialogue.

This project is being built in partnership with the community–not around it.

Creating Opportunities

We’re eager to partner with local businesses, support nonprofit organizations, and build connections with community leaders across Frederick. The cricket park will create opportunities that extend far beyond the field of play, so let’s get connected.

Let’s Talk!
Curious? Skeptical? Interested in partnering?

We welcome it all. Great projects are built through conversation.
