Pours on the Pitch at RAK Brewing

On January 12, 2026, Washington Freedom Cricket brought together Frederick’s business and organizational leaders at RAK Brewing Co. for Pours on the Pitch–a community-based happy hour focused on connection, conversation, and collaboration. The evening offered an opportunity to meet the Washington Freedom team, learn more about the sport of cricket, and gain clarity around the vision for the proposed cricket park, all in a setting that encouraged open dialogue and engaging discussions. 

The event was wonderfully attended and full of energy, with meaningful conversations unfolding over craft beer and food. New relationships were formed, thoughtful questions were exchanged, and the atmosphere reflected a shared commitment to strengthening Frederick’s cultural and economic landscape. Pours on the Pitch reinforced the simple but powerful idea: when community comes together first, progress follows.
